Demountable space wonder
Its name suggests it: London-based Hyunyoung Park was inspired by the crane to create his new luminaire. The design of Crane is reminiscent of a T adjusted horizontally with a wing nut. Either one or two metal brackets joined together can be fixed in a slotted wooden round rod, bulb and socket rest loosely in a metal ring. Depending on the place of use, the lamp can thus be used as indirect room light directed at the wall or ceiling, or with the head lowered as a reading light. The wooden rod becomes stable with a three-legged metal base. Due to the simple technical implementation, all parts can be quickly disassembled and stored in a space-saving manner. Colorful accents are set by the green lacquer finish that fades into white and the dark green textile cable. tp
